AIDU MilFLIP Terms and Conditions

Before proceeding please read the Licence carefully. By proceeding you accept the terms of the Licence. If you do not accept the terms then you will not be able to proceed further.

1. Licence

1.1 The Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (‘the Licensor’) hereby grants to you a non-exclusive licence to read and download any or all files or documents (‘Products’) accessible in your account on the following terms.

1.2 The copyright and all other rights in the Products and the accompanying documentation remain with the Licensor.

2. Acceptance

2.1 You are deemed to have accepted the terms of this Licence by ticking the box at the end of this passage.

2.2 If you do not wish to accept these terms, you should not proceed any further.

3. Scope of licence

3.1 This Licence permits you to:

3.1.1 Use the Products on a single computer which is under the personal control of an authorised user.

3.1.2 Use the Products on an internal network which is under the control of an authorised organisation.

3.1.3 Use the Products to produce derived works, the IPR owner/s of the products must be acknowledged in the derived work. All derived works produced from Products supplied from MilFLIP must incorporate the following statement: "This product was produced from data supplied from No 1 AIDU MilFLIP 2023".

3.2 You shall not:

3.2.1 Use or copy the Products other than is permitted by this Licence;

3.2.2 Allow others to access your account nor attempt to access any account not allocated to you;

3.2.3 Modify, adapt, merge, translate, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Products except only to the extent that the applicable law provides, including but not limited to the intellectual Property Rights of the data owner/s.

3.2.4 Use, sell, assign, rent, sub-licence, loan, mortgage, charge or otherwise deal in any way in the Products or its accompanying documentation or any interest in them or under this Licence except as expressly provided in this Licence.

4. Term

4.1 Unless terminated under clause 4.2 this Licence shall last for as long as you continue to subscribe to the web service.

4.2 This Licence shall terminate automatically if you fail to abide by any of its terms.

5. Warranties and remedies

5.1 The Licensor warrants that to the best of his knowledge, the Products supplied will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the period of the Products validity after the date of the original purchase. If a defect in any Products is noted during such period you may inform the Licensor who will correct it free of charge.

5.2 No 1 AIDU products are not to be taken as necessarily representing the view of the UK Government on boundaries, political status, or place. No 1 AIDU furnished Data is supplied in the format and condition provided and is licensed for the purposes specified in this license agreement. No 1 AIDU accepts no liability for any error or omission in the Data, or for any loss, damage, claims, proceedings, or costs arising from the recipient’s use of or reliance on the Data or from any modification or alternation to the Data or its format, to the full extent permitted by law. No 1 AIDU accepts no liability for or arising from any elements of No 1 AIDU furnished Data provided by third parties.

6. Law

6.1 This Licence, which constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Licensor relating to the Products, is governed by English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Court.
