No 1 AIDU is located at Royal Air Force, Northolt, 12 miles from Central London and 6 miles from Heathrow Airport.

RAF Northolt is next to the A40, and is less than 30 minutes driving time from central London. The M25 and M4 are close by. Leave the A40 at the Polish War Memorial and turn towards Ruislip. For No 1 AIDU, use the Station Main Entrance which is approximately 300 metres past the Air Terminal Entrance and 1 kilometre from the A40.

All visitors should report to the Main Guardroom (Telephone: 020 8833 8368) which is situated at the Station Main Entrance on West End Road. The Guardroom will arrange for an escort to No 1 AIDU or issue directions, as appropriate.

The nearest London Underground Station is Ruislip Gardens on the Central Line, which is approximately 200 metres from the Station Main Entrance (turn left out of the station).
